Here at Pocket Angel, we were delighted to be invited to attend the 30th anniversary of the first residents arriving at the first of the Amber Foundation homes!
It was a uplifting evening as we heard true-life stories from three people whom Amber had helped, going back 20 years. Their stories of early struggle, followed by their path to a new life, and the help and support given to them, really reinforced the reasons Pocket Angel was formed, and why we do what we do.
The room was full of engaging and interesting people, who were all encouraged to wear something amber or orange coloured, and who were all focussed on helping people.
